Detroit Hopes Datsyuk's Return Sparks Club

The Red Wings don't expect Pavel Datsyuk to step into the lineup after missing three weeks and immediately return to his superstar form.

It will take a few games for him to get comfortable following his Feb. 21 arthroscopic surgery on his right knee. But the Wings expect to see an immediate improvement in the players around him.

Datsyuk was back in action Saturday in San Jose. He made his presence felt by scoring a slick goal at 18:46 of the first period to get his team on the scoreboard. The Wings, however, lost 3-2 in overtime.
