WASHINGTON (WWJ) – The Detroit Pistons edge  the Washington Wizards 79-77 on Monday night.

As heard on 97.1 The Ticket – the Pistons stayed even with the Wizards through the first half and came through in the fourth quarter outscoring Washington 26-15 to make up lost ground and finish ahead.

Rodney Stuckey came off the bench to put in a game high 24 points. Tayshaun Prince had 18 points, Greg Monroe posted a double/double scoring 10 points with 10 rebounds.

Jordan Crawford had 20 points in the losing effort for the Wizards.

Pistons take on Cleveland on Wednesday – tune in for pre-game beginning at 6:45 p.m.
