Student Falls From 6th Floor Dorm Room At MSU

LANSING, Mich. (WWJ) - A high school student is seriously hurt, after accidentally falling from a sixth-floor window at a Michigan State University dorm.

Campus police say the 18-year-old from Ann Arbor fell from a window of North Case Hall early Sunday morning. The young woman fell after tripping near a window while several people were playing a game of catch in a dorm lounge. She broke through the glass and tumbled to the ground.

The teen was taken to Sparrow Hospital for treatment. MSU says the accident is under investigation, but there are no indications of any suspicious activity.
