Mega Millions Jackpot Swells To $363 Million!

DETROIT (WWJ) - All it takes is a dollar and a dream. And Tuesday night's multi-state Mega Millions lottery has a lot of people dreaming about the expected $363 million prize.

Lottery officials say there haven't been many jackpots bigger than this one. In fact, it ranks as the third-largest Mega Millions jackpot of all time. No one has won the game since January 24th, and many people say they're really not sure how they could spend that much money.

Here's what some WWJ listeners said they would do if they suddenly hit it big:

"I would get businesses my kids and my grandkids could live on."

"I would invest the money."

"I would buy islands, and I would just get a tan."

"Donate to my church."

"Get everybody in my family their own home."

Whatever your dreams are for the jackpot, here's how much you can take home should you hold the winning ticket:

Michigan Lottery officials say the winner can take a one-time cash payment of $255 million or spread the wealth over 26 years for roughly $13 million a year. That breaks down to $1.1 million per month! And, with that much dough, you could pretty much buy whatever you want.
