Please Stop The Inge-Sanity!

The time has finally come for the Tigers to move on from Brandon Inge. Although Inge is a great guy in the community it just doesn't translate into any on field production. Inge knew for him to make this year's team he had to hit. The result is a batting avg. under .200 this spring. Inge has proved he can play second base defensively but he has also proved no matter where you put him on the field he cannot produce at the plate. The Tigers have given him every opportunity and Inge has failed to deliver. It's time to give guys like Ryan Raburn, Ramon Santiago and Danny Worth who is a former 2nd round pick a chance. Inge is dead weight. The Tigers have shown the willingness to eat a contract and move on before and it's time to do that again.
