Automation Alley Sponsors 2012 Michigan Defense Industrial Base Expo: Troy-based Automation Alley, Michigan’s largest technology business association, is proud to collaborate with the National Defense Industrial Association’s 2012 Michigan Defense Industrial Base Expo. The third annual event will take place May 15-16 from 8 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. at the Macomb Community College Sports and Expo Center in Warren, Mich. The event is designed to showcase defense related products and services to all the Detroit Arsenal associates and its defense partners. There is no cost to attend the expo. However, admission is open only to U.S. government employees, members of NDIA and Women In Defense, and, by special arrangement for this year’s event, all Automation Alley members. Last year’s expo attracted more than 1,600 attendees, and more than 2,500 are expected to attend this year’s event. The event is scheduled in conjunction with the NDIA’s Homeland Security Acquisition Summit and Michigan Defense Procurement Forum, scheduled to take place at Macomb Community College’s John Lewis Conference Center. Additional information is to come at www.ndia-mich.org. The cost to participate as an exhibitor is $950 for a 10-by-10-foot booth space, including an eight-foot skirted table and two chairs. In addition, exhibiting company logos and descriptions will be included in the expo directory. To reserve a space, exhibitors should visit https://admin.marketart.com/shows/mdibe12/sales/ to view the expo floor plan and available booth space, and then email their first and second choices to michiganexpo@ndia-mich.org. Exhibitors will receive reservation confirmation and an invoice. For questions about booth reservation or configuration, contact Sara Armour at (248) 677-1527.
