Will Bynum has a short-term memory when it comes to poor performances. That’s a good trait to have, considering he was called upon to rescue the Pistons from a dire predicament Saturday.
Bynum missed all eight of his shots in Chicago Friday and had shot 25 percent in his last five games entering Detroit’s home game against the woeful Charlotte Bobcats. Bynum, a reserve point guard, scored 12 of his 17 points after halftime, including a tying 3-pointer late in regulation and five free throws in overtime, as the Pistons escaped with a 110-107 victory.
