Leyland Plans To Play Inge At 2nd
Today with the news that Brandon Inge will start the season on the 15-day DL the writer down in Lakeland talked to Jim Leyland about the situation. Leyland said that he intends to start Inge at 2nd when the Tigers are facing a left-handed starter. According to the Detroit Free Press Leyland emphasized that Inge's playing time will go by the way of his hitting. Leyland said Raburn will play 2nd against righties and in the field elsewhere against lefties.
