What To Do With Mikel Leshoure

My First thought – send him out. Find a taker and send him packing. He was a first round talent a year ago and has devalued himself at this time to likely a 4th or 5th round value. But the new Lions don't need this kind of nonsense and unprofessionalism -- DEAL HIM.
But the more I thought about this, I came to the conclusion, it's up to his peers: Matt Stafford and Calvin Johnson. They are the young respected leaders of this team and they have the cache to sit down Leshoure and get him to understand the chance he might be wasting for himself and his teammates.
One mistake, fine. That should serve as your wake up call. But now Leshoure has TWO marijuana related arrests – TWO! Now you're just being a dope. You're not growing up, you are not being a pro – you're being a dope.
This is unacceptable.
And if Leshoure won't listen to the Lions team leaders, then cut your losses and send him packing for a bag of footballs. The new Lions don't need this.
