Suspect Still At Large In Roseville Kmart Shooting

ROSEVILLE (WWJ) - Roseville Police say they now know who was behind an attempted robbery shooting at a  Super Kmart store late last month.

An armed robbery warrant has been issued for 32-year-old Ernest Ford. He's accused of firing off a shot at Kmart security guards after they approached him about allegedly taking the security tags off high-cost electronics.

Police said Ford then made off in a speeding car down I-94.  The security guards were treated for minor injuries at a local hospital.

Ford is 5'10'' tall, 210 lbs., with black hair and brown eyes.

Police said Ford should be considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information about the suspect's whereabouts is act to contact Roseville police at 586-447-4483.  Police remind citizens that if you see Ford, do not approach him, but immediately call police.
