AUBURN HILLS — Genisys Credit Union in Auburn Hills said Friday it had begun offering products and services to business, including full lending services for small to midsized businesses in Michigan.
“Many of our members have both personal and business needs so we are happy to provide another opportunity to help them grow their businesses,” said Norm Soucy, business development manager at the credit union.
Business owners can choose from options such as lines of credit, term loans, commercial mortgages, SBA loans, Visa credit cards and business checking accounts to meet their financial needs.
“We understand that smaller businesses, just like credit unions, take pride in doing business and giving back to their community,” Soucy said. “Providing business solutions that quickly solve the challenges local businesses face is another way that Genisys supports our members and the entire community.”
Genisys says its not-for-profit structure translates into better rates, fewer fees and more personal attention for small businesses. Their partnerships also bring additional benefits such as employee investment services, group benefits, human resource management, insurance programs, merchant processing, payroll administration, prepaid legal services, retirement plans and risk management to businesses and their employees.

Genisys was created through a 2008 merger between T&C Federal Credit Union, a credit union based in Bloomfield Hills, and USA Credit Union, a credit union based in Auburn Hills. As of 2011, Genisys has approximately 127,000 members and $1.4 billion in assets, making Genisys the fifth largest credit union in the state of Michigan.
