Cemetery Looking For Tulip Photo To Die For

TROY (WWJ) - White Chapel Memorial Park Cemetery in Troy is holding its annual Tulip Photo Contest. Vice President David Krall says those interested need to come to their Cemetery and take pictures of the tulips there, upload it to their site, and then vote.

Krall says they have about 36,000 tulips blooming already, and it's all thanks to the weather.

"Due to the warm winter season we've moved up our contest and because the tulips are already starting to bloom ... it will probably go through the first couple weeks of May," said Krall. "It's all depending on the weather."

And he says, there are some big prizes, including Visa gift cards and White Chapel credit vouchers for the winners.

Photo entries begin on Aril 9th, 2012 and will be accepted until midnight, May 20, 2012.
