Novi High School On Alert After Parent Threat
NOVI (WWJ) - Novi High School went into lockdown on Wednesday after a parent allegedly made some threatening remarks to his ex-wife.
Police said the Detroit father called his son's mother, who lives in Novi, and made some concerning statements -- including that he was going to stop by Novi High School to see his son.
Police notified school officials, who then informed teachers and other school staffers of the situation.
The doors and classrooms were locked as a precaution. Students were let out on time.
No further incident regarding the parent in question was reported.
