CMU Suspends 5 Football Players For Rule Violation
MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. (AP) — Central Michigan says it has suspended five students from the football team for unspecified violations of team rules.
The players are Deon Butler, Kevin King, Danel Harris, Joe Sawicki and Austin White.
The university isn't saying what violations the players committed, saying only that it's "cooperating fully with local authorities" in the case and referring questions to them.
Am Isabella County central dispatcher said Sunday he has no information on the matter. No one answered the phone Sunday at the Mount Pleasant Police Department.
