Prayer Service For Cipriano Family Draws Community Of Friends
FARMINGTON HILLS (WWJ) - A prayer service for the Cipriano family drew over a hundred adults and children Monday night.
Eppy Macksoud says she knows the Cipriano family from the church and Detroit Catholic Central where her children attend with the Cipriano children.
"It is about coming together as a family, as a St. Fabian family, community and to pray for Rose and sal to pull through, to pray for the rest of the family and to pray for everyone that has suffered this terrible tragedy," said Macksound.
This woman who didn't want to give her name says she knows the Cipriano family from St. Fabian Catholic Parish in Farmington Hills, and their mutual involvement with Detroit Catholic Central, where their children attend.
"I have three young children who go to this school, one of which is in the young daughter's class, it's just a very unfortunate situation and we just try to tell our kids ... we believe in the power of prayer and we believe in this community and somehow, someway we are gong to pull through this," said one woman attending the service.
Plans for funeral services for Robert Cipriano have not yet been made public.
