Escambia County Chooses Manatron's Integrated Property Tax Software: Portage-based Manatron Inc. said Tuesday it had contracted an implementation of its Government Revenue Management Tax software system with Escambia County, Florida. The Escambia County Tax Collector selected Manatron based on the company's experience in Escambia County and other counties in Florida, as well as for the technology and features of its software suite including multiple implementation options through SaaS, on-site and hosted deployments. Manatron's GRM installation positions the Escambia County Tax Collector to take advantage of the next generation of Web-based software and will provide tax collector staff with more technical support and increased efficiency. The software also provides the tax collector with additional functionality for data query, reporting and analysis. The Escambia County Tax Collector is responsible for more than 160,000 parcels and is joining Sarasota County to become the second county in Florida to migrate to Manatron's GRM software from Manatron's MVP Tax system.
