DEARBORN — Henry Ford Community College will open its new Welcome Center on Monday, April 23.

HFCC says the new Welcome Center will be the site for enrollment services for students.  Current and prospective students will be able to apply for financial aid, talk to an advisor, and register for classes through a streamlined process with help from knowledgeable staff dedicated to outstanding customer service.

Said HFCC president Gail Mee: “We are so pleased to invite students to experience what, we believe, is an exemplary model of service designed to support their success. We listened to them as we designed the new Welcome Center with the goal of exceeding their expectations.”

The design creates an enjoyable space for students that supports a seamless flow of service. Environmental responsibility is also important to the design, which includes bamboo wall coverings, recycled content carpet, and low toxin paints.

The Welcome Center will be open, beginning April 23, Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., and on Friday, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. For further information, please call (313) 845-6495.
