Voting Continues For Student Healthy Video Contest

DETROIT (AP) - The public has a few more days to vote on student submissions to Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan's "Make the Play for Healthy Habits" video contest.

Voting on the five finalists can be made online at www.aHealthierMichigan.org/kidcontest. Voting ends April 25.

Video submissions answered the question: "What would you do to make Michigan healthier?" and include how to live a healthy life, starting with the student, their family and/or their classroom, and how to communicate healthy lifestyle choices with families and students. Children in grades four through eight were eligible to enter.

The finalists from among about 40 entries are:

The winner will star as a guest video blogger on aHealthierMichigan.org and get a school visit from Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford.
