Another Tech Company Moves To Downtown Detroit

DETROIT -- The Detroit holding company Rock Ventures announced Tuesday that Troy-based GSI, a company specializing in security, network and system integration, has opened an office in Downtown Detroit's Dime Building, a 23-story skyscraper located at 719 Griswold.

GSI is the newest company to move into the Dime, purchased by Rock Ventures in August 2011.

GSI's Dime office will initially house three business and development employees, however the company expects to hire another 5-10 people for its Detroit office by end of year.

"This is an exciting time for the city of Detroit and we believe now is the time to make this move – to continue our growth and improve the level of service we provide to our existing clients downtown," said Tim Roddy, Head of Sales and Business Development at GSI.
