Woman's Body Found In Church Parking Lot
OCEOLA TWP (WWJ/AP) - Authorities in Livingston County say the death of a woman found shot in a vehicle parked in church parking lot is being investigated as suspicious.
The body of the 45-year-old woman from Genesee County's Argentine Township was found Monday at St. John Catholic Church in Oceola Township, The Livingston County Daily Press & Argus of Howell reported.
The woman, whose name wasn't immediately released, was found with a sweatshirt over her head and a single gunshot wound.
Livingston County Sheriff Bob Bezotte said the woman's husband reported her missing Thursday.
The church is located in the Howell area, about 45 miles northwest of Detroit.
Anyone who was in the area of M-59 and Hacker Road on Sunday afternoon is asked to call the Sheriff's Department at 517-546-2440.
