Ken Kal Talks About The Red Wings 2011-12 Season

Red Wings play by play man Ken Kal took some time during “locker cleanout day” to discuss what exactly went wrong with the Wings who were the first team to be eliminated from the postseason. Detroit lost in 5 games to the Nashville Predators where it looked like the Wings were the slower, older and less desperate team. Kal gives his thoughts as to why the Wings lost the series, what needs to be done in the offseason to bring the team back to “Stanley Cup” caliber and if Nick Lidstrom and Tomas Holmstrom will be back next season?

Watch the Kal interview below and see if you agree with his assessment of the Wings. Also, you don’t see this, but rest assured that there was at least one Wings employee that fell on the ice while taping the interview.

Good times!
