DETROIT (WWJ) – Police are investigating a quadruple shooting on Detroit’s northeast side.

Deputy Police Chief Benjamin Lee told WWJ Newsradio 950 four men were shot inside a 3-story apartment building on Margaret Street near Nevada and Woodward, near 6 Mile Road, just before 2 p.m. Friday.

“Four people that were shot and wounded, they were all conveyed to the hospital, and we’re currently investigating — trying to piece together what happened,” Lee said.

The four men were all found in the same apartment. Lee said it’s not clear if the shooter was one of the victims or someone else who may have come to the apartment.

The victims’ conditions were unknown and there were no arrests as of 5 p.m. Friday.

Stay with WWJ and for the latest.
