Drug Raid At Home Of Woman Who Befriended Accused Teen Murderer

FARMINGTON HILLS (WWJ) - The woman who once took in Tucker Cipriano-- the teen accused of beating his father to death and sending his mother and brother to the hospital-- is facing felony charges for growing pot.

WWJ Newsradio 950's Violet Ikonomova joins us live and local with more.

Farmington Hills police say a drug raid at Christine Frederick's home Friday night revealed the 47-year-old woman was manufacturing marijuana.

Frederick has openly supported Tucker Cipriano in the wake of the baseball bat beating of his family members.

She was at his arraignment and gave media interviews saying he's a good kid but has always struggled with being the only child adopted to the Cipriano family.
