The Avengers Hype

Friday at midnight people filled theaters all over metro Detroit to watch The Avengers. Who, you say? Unless you've been living on Krypton, The Avengers is the most anticipated movie to come out this year and is expected to break all sorts of attendance and revenue records. The Marvel Comics based movie stars superheroes Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), Captain America (Chris Evans), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), The Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), Black Widow (Scarlett Johannsen) and Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) as they attempt to simply, 'save the world'.

The movie has already made an unbelievable $281 million in 39 countries before its U.S. debut! And the excitement and hype around this movie is unreal. Sean, our intern on the Stoney and Bill Show showed up for work Friday morning wearing an Iron Man costume as he was at the midnight showing. He, by the way gives the movie a rousing 'thumbs up'. That brings us to our esteemed producer Theron. Whoa! You would think Kate Upton offered to give him a private Cat Daddy lap dance. Anytime the movie came up or we discussed it on the show, he would go into this convulsive, holding in a fart motion with his body! This kid was counting down the hours until he gets to see the movie at 8:15 Friday night.
