Hyatt Hotel Leaving, What’s Next For Landmark Dearborn Location?

DEARBORN (WWJ) – There are no plans to close a landmark Dearborn hotel.

Late Monday afternoon Royal Realties, which operates the Hyatt Hotel, released a statement saying Hyatt planned to terminate it’s connection to the hotel.

Royal Realties says it’s been looking for a four star hotel to purchase and operate the facility.

It says it also plans a comprehensive renovation of the property and does not plan any mass layoffs of staff, nor do they plan to close the hotel.
