Livio Connect Squashes Competitors In Frost & Sullivan Report

FERNDALE -- Livio Radio today announced that it has received the Frost & Sullivan 2012 New Product Innovation Award for the Livio Connect API.

Livio Connect, first seen in Livio Radio's Bluetooth Internet Radio Car Kit, is commonsense technology that connects apps to cars, eliminating the need for constant support and one-on-one integration between consumers' smartphone apps and hardware devices. It acts as a common language, allowing products to communicate securely cross-platform, leaving the app and hardware developers to focus on making what they make best.   Products considered for Frost & Sullivan Awards are put through the research firm CEO's 360-Degree Perspective, which serves as the foundation of its TEAM Research methodology. This unique approach enables the firm to determine how best-in-class companies worldwide manage growth, innovation and leadership.

"We've been demonstrating the benefits of Livio Connect for almost three years and finally we have third-party validation on why those benefits are better than the competition. It's great to win an award, but even better when we can explain in detail why we won, boom!" Livio Radio founder and CEO Jake Sigal said.

Frost & Sullivan scored Livio Connect higher in every area over competitors, including innovation, leading-edge technologies, value-added features, increased customer ROI and  customer acquisition/penetration potential. Some of the value-added services tied into the API include partners such as AirKast, CSR, jacAPPS, Live365 and TargetSpot.

Demonstrations of Livio Connect will be available at the International CTIA Wireless 2012 in the Automotive Solutions Showcase, which runs May 8-10, 2012, in New Orleans, La.  More information about Livio Connect is available at www.LivioConnect.com.

Founded in 2008, Livio Radio has already developed a list of successful Internet radio products through ongoing relationships with major broadcasters. The company remains committed to connecting apps to cars in an easy, scalable and safe way, and to offering more music and less work to both end-consumers and business partners.
