PLYMOUTH — Comcast Corp. announced that it will be holding a career fair on Saturday, May 19 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at its Advanced Product Service Center in Scio Township.
The company is looking for candidates to fill positions in the Technical Support Specialist team to service the needs of its growing customer base in Michigan.
Technical Support Specialists working in Scio Township will diagnose service-related issues and offer technical and other assistance to Comcast customers over the telephone or through electronic communications. These employees play an important role in ensuring the continuous satisfaction of Comcast customers.
Candidates should have experience with computer troubleshooting, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a basic understanding of Intranet and Internet networking, and a familiarity with Internet Web browsers. Preferred experience includes two to three years of technical support experience in a call center environment or two to three years of customer service experience in a retail environment. Qualified candidates will have on-site interview opportunities.
