Has Your Dog Ever Been Shot By A Paintball Gun?

By: Jamie Samuelsen

…And if it has, what would you do?

Perhaps that's not a question you considered before yesterday. Truthfully, I never had either. But that was before Wojo and I went on the air following the Tigers 10-8 win over the White Sox. Many callers were upset that the Tigers almost lost the game and even more upset that this team can't seem to get everything clicking this season. Apparently, the tone of the callers was a little too negative because it spurred "Justin from Livonia" to call us.

Justin said that he's not a huge baseball fan, but he thinks that the Tigers fans don't appreciate how good they have it. He also worries that the anger in Tiger nation will lead to bad things for the team. And if anyone should know what anger does…it's Justin.

Why? Well, Justin is homeless now because he took a horseshoe stake to a neighbor's Porsche after that same neighbor had shot Justin's dog with a paintball gun.

Yes, you read that last sentence correctly. Don't believe me? Well, take a listen to the phone call.

Podcast

Don't worry. The dog is okay. The neighbor allegedly shot the dog because the dog was freaking out at the neighbor's weed-whacker. Justin is out of his house because, according to him, his entire neighborhood placed a restraining order against him for the horseshoe spike incident. Can't totally say as I blame them. Then again, nobody ever shot my dog with a paintball gun.

That's not the last you'll hear from Justin. We'll make sure to keep tabs on his legal situation and to get his perspective on the Tigers as the season continues.
