Joaquin Benoit, Andy Dirks, Octavio Dotel And Jose Valverde To Serve It Up For The Detroit Tigers Foundation
DETROIT – Ever wanted to be served by a Detroit Tigers player? This Thursday, May 17, from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m., Tigers fans have the opportunity to be served by Detroit Tigers players to benefit the Detroit Tigers Foundation, an affiliate of Ilitch Charities, and Orange Hearts, a charitable organization supported by Joaquin Benoit. The Detroit Tigers Foundation will host the special fundraising event at CJ Mahoney's Sports Grille (2511 Livernois Rd, Troy, Michigan).
Tigers scheduled to join the wait staff tomorrow night include pitchers Joaquin Benoit, Octavio Dotel and Jose Valverde, as well as outfielder Andy Dirks. The Tigers celebrity servers, along with their friends and special guests from local media will be serving dinner to guests throughout the evening.
Tickets for the events are $16 online at TipATiger.com and by calling (313) 471-2113, and $20 at the door, while supplies last. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Detroit Tigers Foundation and Orange Hearts.
