This is why we love Niklas Kronwall, he just destroys everything in his wake. Here he is in the World Championships, showing off his defensive skills in his ability to line up an opposing player with the good, old fashioned hip check from Hell!

As Red Wings fans, we’re used to seeing this, but it never gets old. The check is perfectly clean and legal, which probably upsets opposing players to no end because they can’t complain about it. No penalty on the play, just appreciation for the awesome destruction and the respect of the crowd for the man doing the hitting and the applause for the victim getting back to his feet.
