"It is not just about coming to see buildings ... the intent of I SEE DETROIT is to get to meet people that you may not see everyday, that don't live in your neighborhood. We are crossing more local borders and crossing cultures, so this is about community," said Lee.

The I SEE DETROIT tour uses education, history and community to inspire the city back to greatness.

Bring your camera and let your creative side shine as you go to the Spirit of Detroit, Campus Martius Park, even Lafayette and American Coney Island restaurants.

The event takes place, Saturday, from 12:00 p.m. – 2 p.m.,  and is a two-hour guided walking tour, starting in the heart of downtown at Campus Martius Park through the streets and landmarks of downtown Detroit, learning the rich history and stories of our great city.
