3 Men Arraigned In The Carjacking And Robbing Of Marvin Winans
DETROIT (WWJ) - Bond has been set for three people accused of carjacking and robbing prominent Detroit Pastor Marvin Winans.
The young men, Montoya Givens and Christopher Moorehead both 20 from Detroit and 18-year old Brian Young from Clinton Township, were arraigned Sunday afternoon for their alleged roles in crime.
In a statement, Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy says crime in the city is not down or even the same as it was at this time last year, just the reporting of crime is down.
The three were charged with carjacking and unarmed robbery.
Each defendant received $200,000 cash - surety bond: next preliminary examination has been schedule for June 1.
Pastor Marvin Winans, meanwhile, has a message for Detroit dads.
