Plex Systems' Annual User Conference Breaks Attendance Records

AUBURN HILLS -- Plex Systems Inc., provider of the Plex Online Cloud ERP system for manufacturers, last week announced the successful conclusion of PowerPlex 2012, the Plex Online user conference, held this year in Indianapolis.

The three-day event was attended by more than 700 customers from 170 companies, as well as prospects, partners and Plex Systems staff -- the largest number of participants in the event's 11-year history.

In keeping with the conference theme, "Know More, Do More, Win More," Plex Online users learned about new features of Plex Online, attended role-specific workshops, and shared challenges and solutions at networking events. Among new functionality announced was the launch of IntelliPlex, a business intelligence suite enabling end users to access virtually any data and create powerful reports and analyses, as well as enhancements to the tools allowing community members to customize the software and significant enhancements to the mobile platform. In addition to a record number of Plex Online users, the Plex Systems partner ecosystem was well represented, with 18 companies participating.

"PowerPlex is a place for our vibrant, energetic community to meet in person to share ideas and best practices," said Plex Systems CEO Mark Symonds. "It's extremely gratifying to witness the enthusiasm and passion of everyone at this annual one-of-a-kind event."

The PowerPlex attendees also used the event as an opportunity to raise funds for Plex Systems' 2012 charity partner, the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Michigan. A total of $22,012 was raised through a silent auction featuring items donated by employees, partners and even customers; rides in an authentic Indy-style car; and other fundraising activities. The money raised, which exceeded the company's goal, will allow the dreams of four seriously ill children to come true.

PowerPlex 2013, the 12th annual conference, will be held in Columbus, Ohio, on June 3-5, 2013.
