Web Designer Rolls Out New E-Commerce Sites

TROY -- A Troy Web designer has rolled out two new e-commerce Web sites on its own account.

"These are things we wanted to build for ourselves that we thought were fun," said Lindsay Hall, marketing coordinator of Awecomm Technologies, which Monday announced the establishment of http://UniqueGiftLists.com and http://HealthyHomeCooking.com.

Hall said the Awecomm staff had a lot of fun "scouring the Interwebs" for unique and special gifts for the gift site. There is also a search function for gifts for special occasions, gifts for that special someone or view a full directory of gifts. A few examples of the gifts being offered are a "beer hammer bottle opener," a "grenade screwdriver set," "ninja star push pins," a box of chocolate .50 caliber bullets and a cutting board with all sorts of marks and rulers for the "OCD Chef."

HealthyHomeCookin.com, meanwhile, was launched to allow users to find out exactly what the nutritional information of their food is. In addition to the free tools offered, including a nutrition directory, nutrition lists and a measurement converter, the site also offers a huge searchable database of nutritional information.

When users come to HealthyHomeCooking.com they can search for nutritional information by ingredient name, calorie density or calorie ratio. The calorie density search allows users to find foods that have a specific number of calories in each gram. The calorie ratio search allows users to slide the ratio bars to find foods that offer a certain percentage of calories from fat, protein and carbohydrates.

HealthyHomeCooking.com's database contains thousands of foods and ingredients for users to search and is a great way to find out what's in your food and find healthier alternative choices.
