ALLEN PARK, Mich. (AP) — Nate Burleson says he didn’t see what fellow Detroit Lions receiver Titus Young did to get himself dismissed from team workouts this week.
Burleson says he doesn’t know if Young punched, pushed or shoved safety Louis Delmas. But he says the Lions are a tough team that needs to learn how to dial down emotions at times.
Burleson says it will be business as usual for Young when he is able to come back to work at team headquarters. Detroit coach Jim Schwartz declined Monday to say why Young was among the players missing from voluntary workouts.
