Three Best Non-Quarterbacks In The NFL
By: Pat Caputo
1. Jared Allen, defensive end, Vikings - His comments about Detroit were reprehensible, and he isn't likeable, but Allen is a tremendous player. He has averaged well into the double digits per season for sacks, and had 22 last year. He has made more plays than ever the last couple years.
2. Calvin Johnson, wide receiver, Lions - A rare combination of size and speed. Johnson is tremendous after the catch, and nobody is better catching the ball at its highest point. He rarely drops passes anymore.
3. Jason Pierre-Paul, defensive end, Giants - Impossible to block. Top run stopper. Superior pass rusher. The total package.
