BIRMINGHAM — Gas Station TV, the largest national video network at the pump, Wednesday announced that it will give away $50 gas cards to lucky winners through May 31 — and one grand prizewinner will receive a year’s worth of free gas (valued at $3,000) through its new mobile platform.

During the sweepstakes GSTV will air promotional content on the network encouraging viewers to enter the sweepstakes by simply dialing **GSTV (**4788) from any mobile phone.

Each day during the program period, 10 callers will be randomly selected as a winner of a $50 gas card. Win or lose, daily entries will automatically put callers in the running for the grand prize — a year’s worth of free gas, valued at $3,000.

In addition to the sweepstakes, GSTV viewers will also be able to receive access to promotions such as mobile app downloads, coupons, videos and more through **GSTV.

GSTV is the exclusive network provider of the StarStar technology in the gas space, and its custom promotional platform program is the first time the technology has been used in such a manner.

“What better way could there be to launch **GSTV than rewarding our viewers with the chance to win free gas,” said David Leider, CEO of Gas Station TV. “And this is just the beginning. We are thrilled to be partnered with StarStar to provide this unique technology and are excited about the additional value will be able to offer our consumers.”

Said Joe Gillespie, president and CEO of StarStar from Zoove: “The simplicity, power and reach of the StarStar platform makes it a great solution for GSTV to offer the on-thego consumer valuable offers and opportunities.”

No purchase or payment of any kind is necessary to enter or win the **GSTV sweepstakes. See Official Rules at www.gstv.com/giveaway for complete details.

GSTV is the largest national video network delivering the most viewers at the pump. The first Nielsen-audited and measured network in the gas station video market, GSTV has grown from a five-station pilot in Dallas to more than 31 million monthly viewers at the nation’s leading gas retailers in more than 11 U.S. cities. Through its inOvationTV partnership with Wayne, a GE Energy Business, the network is on track to increase its monthly viewership to 70 million.

GSTV is a proven tool for driving business for advertisers and increasing the revenue stream for gas retailers, while engaging consumers with exclusive content including news from CNN’s Headline News, entertainment headlines from Showbiz Tonight, sports recaps from ESPN, business and personal finance reports from Bloomberg TV, and GSTV’s original social media program, “Your Neighborhood,” in addition to local weather updates from AccuWeather.

StarStar is an exclusive registry of vanity mobile phone numbers that lets brands easily connect with people — anytime, anywhere, on any U.S. mobile phone.

With StarStar numbers, consumers simply call the name of the brand they see being promoted. Instantly, they can be pushed that brand’s mobile app, Web page, coupon, videos or more, directly to their mobile phones — without the need to use bar code readers or disjointed text message short codes.

StarStar numbers are designed to be promoted as part of any marketing campaign, such as TV and radio commercials, billboards, print ads, online ads and more.

StarStar provides the mobile connection brands are seeking, and the ability to measure the results instantly. Based in Palo Alto, Calif., additional information about StarStar is available at www.getstarstar.com or by simply calling **SALES (**72537) from a mobile phone.
