Coast Guard Rescues 2 In Saginaw Bay

LINWOOD (AP) - The U.S. Coast Guard has rescued two men from a 17-foot boat that capsized in Saginaw Bay.

The Coast Guard says it responded Friday morning following a 911 call that the boat was starting to take on water. The men were picked up about two miles offshore from Linwood.

Crews got to the scene about 100 miles northwest of Detroit within about 10 minutes of the initial call. The men were taken to shore, where they were treated for minor hypothermia.
