Course Looks Great At Indianwood For U.S. Senior Open

The U.S. Senior Open will be played at the Old Course at Indianwood in mid July.  Tickets starting at $20.00 can be had at 2012USSENIOROPEN.COM.  Parking is free.

Just played the course today for the media day along with 97.1 The Ticket Webmaster Evan Jankens and Guy Gordon of WDIV TV.

The course was in great shape.  As was Gordon's game-holing out from 87 yards for an eagle three on the par five first hole.

The green speeds are up to an 11.5(that's golf speak for REALLY fast).  You cannot be above the hole and expect to have an easy two putt!

The USGA-known as the "protectors of parr" in their major championships- may have a tough task to get the course tough enough for the guys on the Champions Tour.   Despite the green speeds and wispy heather, there are a lot of birdies out there for some of the best in the world.
