DETROIT — Social Media Day Detroit will return Saturday, June 30 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Motor City Casino Hotel’s Sound Board Theater, 2901 Grand River Ave., Detroit.
Livio Radio, the developer of elegantly simple Internet radios for home and car, will host the event.
An earlier event means a slightly different program, including a brunch menu and a Bloody Mary bar.

This year’s theme is Detroit 2.0. The event will celebrate all the great things that are tangible in the rebirth of the city — startups and incubators flourishing in the city, businesses popping up and moving downtown, and the entrepreneurial buzz in the city being noticed all over the country. Attendees will be a young, digitally connected crowd enthusiastic about social media, entertainment, music, Detroit, sports and hot new technology. Sponsors of the event are Campus Commands, the Detroit Tigers, the Detroit Red Wings, Detroit Venture Partners, Exact Target, Fathead, Quicken Loans, Quizzle.com and Yelp.com.
Due to the casino location, the event is for those age 21 and over only, no exceptions.
