Detroit Man Due Back In Court In Antique Store Owner's Death

DETROIT (WWJ) - A Detroit man is due back in court today for the brutal murder of a store owner on the city's west side.

Ronald Bradley is charged with beating longtime antique store owner Nathan Feingold to death with a baseball bat and taking money from him. Bradley was spotted leaving the store, police catching up with him soon thereafter. The Wayne County Prosecutor's office is bringing first degree murder and larceny charges against the 34-year-old Bradley, who now faces life in prison.

The case hit a nerve in the city, with friends of Feingold saying the rise in violence would discourage new businesses from opening in Detroit. Feingold owned the antiques store at Michigan near Livernois on the city's west side for more than 30 years.
