Jackson Hopes To Take BP On Tuesday
Austin Jackson won't be ready to return to the roster Tuesday, but he reported progress with his abdominal muscle. Jackson has been out nearly three weeks with an injury that was deemed relatively minor at the time it occurred. He said Sunday he expects to step up his activity Tuesday, hoping to take live batting practice and testing his stomach muscles with some running. "I'll take batting practice on the field," said Jackson, who may have to go on a short rehab stint to get his timing back.
