Tigers Agree To Terms With 15 Selections From 2012 Draft

DETROIT --- The Detroit Tigers today announced the club has agreed to terms with 15 of the team's selections from the 2012 Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft.

Among the 15 players agreeing to terms with the Tigers include the club's top two selections in this year's draft, righthanded pitcher Jake Thompson from Rockwall-Heath High School in Texas and outfielder Austin Schotts from Centennial High School in Texas.

Additionally, the Tigers have announced the club has agreed to terms with two non-drafted free agents: catcher Timothy Remes from Sante Fe College (FL) and second baseman Cory Jensen from Florida Southern College.
