Father's Day Guide To Coupons, Freebies And Discounts

If you're still searching for Father's Day gift ideas, there are plenty of deals and special events you can cash in on.

If you send your father a Denny's e-card on Facebook, you and your father will both receive coupons for a free Pancake Puppies Sundae at the restaurant.  IKEA is serving free breakfast and coffee until 11 a.m. and Mcdonald's is serving free breakfast to any father with a child on Sunday.  Quiznos also has coupons for free or discounted subs and Hooters has 20 wings for $9.99.  At Caribou Coffee, drinks are buy one, get one free.

There are Father's Day apparel discounts, too.  The Detroit Lions' store is offering 15 percent off of all golf apparel now through Sunday.  You can find the discounted clothing on their website.  Your dad can visit Old Navy on June 16 to participate in the "Shoot and Score Giveaway" for a chance to win a $20,000 man cave makeover from DIY Network.

There are also special events being held in Detroit.  For the baseball fan, the Tigers are holding a Father's Day event on June 18 at Comerica Park.  The event includes a 45 minute session of catch in the outfield, an all-you-can-eat buffet and a ticket to see the Tigers battle the Rangers on August 20.  Tickets to the event are $70.

The Detroit Princess Riverboat is making a special Father's Day sunset cruise this Sunday, June 17.  Your father can watch the beautiful sunset through the Ambassador Bridge from the riverboat.  Tickets are $30 for adults and $15 for children.
