1. You’d think Northwestern would miss departed quarterback Dan Persa, a brilliant college player. The QB replacing Persa, though, Kain Colter is even better, and might be the Big Ten’s next great player.
2. Ohio State running back Jordan Hall will thrive in Urban Meyer’s spread offense and have a huge season.
3. Look for Michigan State tight end Dion Sims to have a breakout season and earn first-team All-Big Ten honors.
