1 Dead, 1 Hospitalized After Home Invasion, Police Search For 2 Suspects

DETROIT (WWJ) - A home invasion in Detroit ends with one person dead and one in the hospital, both from gunshots.

It happened Monday evening along the Southfield Freeway Service Drive, north of Fullerton.

Police say it began as a home invasion and ended in gunfire.

The man killed was one of two people in the home at the time of the attack, he died of his wounds in the hospital. The other person shot during the robbery remains in the hospital.

Police are looking for two black, male suspects who ran from the scene.
