How many of you golfers have actually had the chance to golf on a course that has held a major championship. Not many I am sure. Yes, there are some who might have had the privilege of playing Oakland Hills, and there is another group who have tried their skill on the TPC of Michigan, which used to be the home of the Senior Players Championship. However how many of you have had the opportunity to play those courses the day after a major. Hardly any of you.
Now is your chance. The 2012 U.S.Senior Open takes place at Indianwood Country Club in Lake Orion, July12-15. But with just a small donation to a great charity you can test your skill on the course when it’s at its hardest. Hello Sunday pin placements. And if that’s not enough of an enticement, you get to play with me. Ok, I am not a great golfer, I will be lucky to break 100,but I promise to look you in the eye, answer all of your questions about sports and even give you the “inside scoop” on Sara,Bill, and of course Wojo. I promise we will have a good time; I won’t bore you with Bruce Springsteen stories unless you request them and if you want I will even buy you a Bloody Mary. So I encourage you to read the rules for the contest and enter. After all you can save a youngsters life and play Indianwood with me. That is a great combination isn’t it.
