Pistons Brandon Knight To Join John S. And James L. Knight Foundation And KaBOOM! To Build A Detroit Playground
EVENT: Pistons guard Brandon Knight will join 200 volunteers from the Detroit area, the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation and organizers from KaBOOM! on Saturday, June 23 to build a new playground in Detroit. The playground design was based on drawings created by children who participated in Design Day events in April.

DETAILS: A new playground will be built at the Commonwealth Community Development Academy in Detroit and will eventually serve thousands of children in the Detroit area. This playground is one of six being built by KaBOOM! and the Knight Foundation this year and among more than 150 playground builds KaBOOM! will lead across the country in 2012.
