Teen Charged With Taking 'Upskirt' Videos Of Unsuspecting Women

DETROIT (CBS Detroit) Simone Edward Eid, 18, of Wixom is being held on a $50,000 cash bond after allegedly taking upskirt video of three women -- and following one back to her house -- earlier this week.

Eid was arraigned Friday on six felony charges, including capturing and distributing images of an unclothed person and using a computer to commit a crime. Police say he's also a suspect in two illegal entries in Commerce Township, with more charges expected the beginning of next week.

The teen was caught Tuesday afternoon near Target in the 400 block of Haggerty after two women and a husband chased him from the store when he was spotted taking video images up their skirts inside the store.

The victims chased him to a field near the store and held him there until police arrived and arrested him. His camera was recovered at the scene, with several 'upskirt' videos saved.

"The suspect admitted to the incident and also admitted to a similar incident at the Wal-Mart in Commerce," the Oakland County Sheriff's Department said in a press release.

The victims were a 37-year-old woman from Wixom, a 37-year-old woman from Commerce Township and a 48-year-old from West Bloomfield Township.

At 12:30 a.m. Monday, he had also allegedly stalked a woman at Walmart in Commerce Township, trying to start a conversation with her in the music department before shooting video up her skirt. "In-store video surveillance shows he selected and stalked the victim for several minutes before he found his opportunity," the Sheriff's Department said in a press release.

In that instance, video also showed he followed her out of the store and from the parking lot to her apartment in Wixom. According to the Wixom police, the victim called 911, panicked because the man from the Walmart was knocking on her door and saying he "wanted to talk more with her."

She told him to go away and that she was calling the police. He was gone when the police arrived.

While investigating these cases, police said they realized the teen might also be the man they were looking for in a series of window peeping and illegal entries into homes of women around the Pontiac Trail and Beck Road area.
