1. Both were career minor leaguers, who made their major league debuts at the age of 27 for the Detroit Tigers, Rhymes in 2010, and Berry in 2012.
2. Both were hailed for providing energy, immediately becoming favorites of many Tigers fans, who gave them instant hero status.
3. After 93 at bats his rookie season, Rhymes was hitting .318 with a .757 OPS. After 92 at bats after this season, Berry is hitting .315 with a .785 OPS
